Air Nigeria Cargo provides a variety of products & services designed to ensure the swift and efficient delivery of your consignment at a competitive rates. We offer standard, specialised as well as express services across our entire domestic and regional network in collaboration with MONAI Cargo & Courier Company Limited our cargo service partner.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Lead-time for receipt of consignment
We recommend that all consignments should be received at the airport at the following timelines
- 3 hours before flight departure for domestic cargo and
- 24 hours before flight for regional freight.
This lead-time for receipt of cargo at the airport is based on the following:
- enable shippers or their agents to deliver cargo as close as possible to the time of departure
- allow sufficient time for documentation, handling, clearance, load planning and loading
Weight, Size and Volume restrictions
For safety and operational reasons, we are limited by the standards below:
- Maximum weigh of each consignment or item must not be more than 150kg per piece
- Size of the package is restricted by the dimension of our aircraft hold doors below

General cargo
Transportable goods not classified as household goods nor requiring any specialised handling like cargo bags, bulk cargo and baggage shipped as cargo etc
Express cargo
The express products main features include:
- loading priority
- specific acceptance time at origin airport
- dedicated handling in some airports
- priority delivery time at destination airport
- preferred space access for late bookings
Courier, Mails (Airport to Airport), Newspapers, Magazine, Document and Parcels are examples
Special cargo or valuables
Perishables
"Perishable cargo" can be defined as goods that are subject to deterioration over a period of time or if exposed to adverse temperature, humidity or other environmental conditions.
Examples include Fruits and vegetables, Meat, Seafood, fish, flowers and plants, serum and vaccine, dairy products and deep frozen products
Human remains
We provide transportation for human remains on all Air Nigeria destinations.
This special service receives priority handling. Customers are required to book at least 24 hours in advance and possess the following mandatory documentations

Dangerous goods are substances or objects that are capable of causing significant risks to health, safety and property when being transported by air
Air Nigeria does NOT Accept Dangerous Goods (DG) for Carriage
